London Festival of Architecture – June 2017
Following a sell out season in 2016, Tim Ross and Kit Warhurst are thrilled to return to the UK as part of the London Festival of Architecture to perform their brand new show.
For the last four years Tim and Kit have been performing in unique locations and skillfully blended storytelling, music and design in a mold breaking format that has seen them literally sell out houses across the globe.
The Rumpus Room and other stories from the suburbs, Tim Ross’ latest book, is a heavily pictorial book and Rosso describes it as “a coffee table book for people who don’t have particularly good coffee tables”. From the beachside holiday house to the backyard pool and the rumpus room, the architecture of the suburbs forms the backdrop to a uniquely Australian way of life. Tim roams through these familiar places to paint a picture of Australian domesticity and its relationship to the Australian psyche in all its funny, nostalgic, ironic and often acutely cringe-worthy glory.
Man About The Rumpus Room the show is as perfect for an ex-pat Aussie as a meat pie with sauce!
